Alerts and integrations

An alert you cannot ignore.

Nobody reads email at 3 a.m. That is why the alert also arrives on WhatsApp, where you actually look.

Where you are already looking.

You can enable several at once and pick which ones per site.

WhatsApp

Straight to your phone, with the site name and how long it has been down.

Email

To you and anyone on your team, with the failure detail.

Slack

To the channel where your team already talks.

Telegram

For those who keep work separate from personal chat.

Webhook

The incident as JSON, to your own system.

To your team

Each person with their own channels.

What the alert says

With what you need to decide, not just “it is down”.

Which site, what it returned, since when, and whether it is the only one affected.

⚠ DOWN api.ejemplo.com

Since 03:14 (4 min ago)
Response 503 Service Unavailable
Checked 3 times in a row
Other sites all fine → just this one

And when it comes back, another with how long it lasted.

Questions

Do WhatsApp alerts cost extra?

No. They are included in paid plans, with nothing else to contract.

Can I send alerts to my own system?

Yes, with a webhook. We send the incident as JSON and you do what you want with it.

Will you wake me up over nothing?

We do not alert on the first failure. Three failed checks in a row are needed, and you can schedule maintenance windows.

Let the system tell you, not the client.
