Questions about the comparison
Which is the best tool to monitor websites?
It depends on what for. If you need checks from several cities at once, on-call with phone calls or multi-step tests, Better Stack or Pingdom do it better. If you watch client sites and want WhatsApp alerts, .pe domains, branded status pages and everything in Spanish, that is what MonitoraWeb is built for.
Where does MonitoraWeb check from?
From a single point: our server. That is why each failure is retried after 10 seconds and an outage only counts after three failures in a row. Better Stack and Pingdom confirm from several servers; we say so because it is true.
Do any of these alert on WhatsApp?
Natively, none of the four paid ones. Uptime Kuma does it through third-party gateways you set up and pay for. MonitoraWeb does it through Meta's official API, included in paid plans.
Where does this data come from?
From each tool's official pages, reviewed on 25 October 2026. Every source is at the bottom of the page. If something changed, write to us and we will fix it.
